Bluebell Cottage is a modern house and is home to Iris and Graham Terry. We would like to welcome you to come and stay at our bed and breakfast.
We are situated 5 miles south of West Tarbert on the B8001 just off the main A83 and two minutes drive from Kennacraig Ferry which sails to Islay, Jura and Colonsay. Claonaig ferry is five miles away for ferries to the Isle of Arran. We are an ideal stopover for ferry connections in either direction.You can also explore the beautiful Island of Gigha with its breathtaking beaches, clear green seas and host of wildlife. There is also Achamore Gardens which has vast array of beautiful trees, plants and flowers. While your here why not visit visit the historical Skipness Castle and St Brendan's Chapel, built in the 13th century it is in superb condition and free entry gives you a golden oppertunity to take some stunning photographs of the castle and wonderful views of Arran. You can also relax and have a bite to eat at the Seafood Cabin.
As from January 2011 we will only be offering a light breakfast, quality fresh fruit and jucies, cereals, yogurts, toast, tea and filtered coffee, as season permits local produce will be used.
The nearby West Loch Hotel offers an excellent evening meal.
All the bedrooms are en-suite (showers), king size beds and flat screen televisions serviced by Sky Satellite (individual viewing). Tea and coffee making facilities also in each room. The dining room overlooks Redhouse Burn which runs the full length of the garden, small trout can often be seen in the burn. Many species of birds and sometimes deer visit the garden and surrounding area.
Our aim is to provide you with a good service in a homely relaxed environment within this beautiful area of Argyll.
